In the meantime here's what I was working on about 25 years ago. Her name is Ravage and was part of my answer to Jim Lee's Wildcats. The comic was going to be called Force 10. I'll post more of the character drawings in some upcoming posts.

My Facebook Exit

Over the past few years I've taken extended Facebook sabbaticals. The last one was almost 2 years. Every time I do one of these it is a huge relief. So my friends I have decided to leave the almighty FB, for the most part anyways. I am still a part of the comic book, webcomic and coloring book groups, along with FB messenger. My posts will be here if you want to see what I'm doing. 

FB, in their infinite wisdom, has seen fit that it's impossible to delete your account. So I did the next best thing. I deleted almost everything. In doing so FB looks like it has put serious restrictions on my Instagram. I cannot add hashtags or tag other creators. This is a serious restriction. How am I to reach beyond my current followers? Just now I am unable to upload anything at all. They are trying to tell me that I need a better connection. I have one of the fastest residential connections in Tucson and my son is in the other room playing games across the internet with who knows how many friends from everywhere. If I didn't rely on Instagram for much of the promotion of my art I'd shit-can it too. I'm thinking that the frustrations, at this point, are not worth the reward. 

Anyhow, I hope you'll follow me here. New comics and coloring books are in the works. I will be adding links to my blog on FB to remind everyone that new content is out for your viewing.

Patreon shut down. Now on Ko-fi

 I have decided to cancel my Patreon account as it's imminent implosion looms ever nearer. I had thought about this almost two years ago when Patreon became part of the cancel culture. At that point there was almost no alternative to it's platform. Now we do have a couple of choices and I have decided to go with Ko-fi right now. My account has been cancelled on Patreon, so if you support AAA and get charged on the 1st of September please let me know.

Here it is August 1st and I haven't made a post in over a month. Not that I've been slacking. Quite the opposite. A second coloring book has been published through Amazon. I'm excited to announce that my first printed coloring book is available on Amazon! OtherWorld Spirals is a challenging yet fun geometric patterns book that the designs look organic. Some resemble flowers, leaves and pedals and are created using straight lines almost exclusively.

New Coloring Book - Hyper-Spirals

For the last few weeks I have been working on my next coloring book called Hyper-Spirals. The digital version is 22 pages of geometric spiral patterns and a couple of bonus pages from other coloring projects that I'm working on also. Right now it's a printable digital download on Etsy. Sometimes pages just cause me anxiety for no reason. This was one of those. Once the line art was done and the flat tones layed in for the color my brain had a cramp. For 5 days. Finally I said enough with this BS and got it done. Lettered and uploaded to Tapas.

Top Webcomics...

One of the websites that I promote An Alien Adventure on is Top Webcomics. It's a listing service for readers to find new comics to read. There are several genres and an overall monthly vote ranking. The idea is that your reader go there and vote for your comic up to once a day. The more votes you get the higher up the list you can potentially be placed. Also, the higher the ranking the more likely new readers are to click your banner and read your comic.

Back before the turn of the century (holy crap does that make me feel old) I did quite a bit more fantasy illustration than comics or sci-fi. I used to travel from art fairs to medieval fairs all around the PNW and sell art and prints. This particular image was, by far, my most popular. It's now available at my Etsy shop as a digital downloadable coloring page for only $1. Print it as many times as you want and color it in as many different ways as your imagination allows.
